Just finished it for my first time with a party of five and completely without thief (but with a lot of reloading -blush-).

My party was only slightly different:

Paladin (m,h,lg)
Fighter (m,d,ng)
Cleric (m,h,lg)
Ranger (f,e,cg)
Sorceress (f,h,cg)

quite the "standard" party ...

Yups, Burne doesnt join after having talked to him. Anywhere else to get it if you dont have a wiz in your grp?
