Stilgar, when you're right, you're right. ;) FFX does turn everyone into clones (I never got them quite that far, but Wakka-was-Auron-was-Tidus and Yuna-was-Rikku-was-Lulu in my save file).

I'm just hoping that Dragon Age doesn't get bogged down into the prototypical warrior/rogue/magician hard ...

True, but he could have been just a different stripe of villain, and thus he would have been just another bad guy then out of power who wanted to rearrange the balance of power.

But we really shouldn't bash lawyers, here, even in a spirit of fun. Some of our members are lawyers, and they're pretty friendly and knowledgeable.
Yes, yes ... we should keep the lawyer jokes to the minimum. But when the speaker is a lawyer... :D

Don't worry, we've already moved on and started talking elsewhere about how snakes and lawyers are related.

Well, if you can get rid of your in-laws by putting them in the mail and sending them to someone you really don't like, then a lot of people would have already done that. I'm going to go with "blood," then, because blood's thicker than water, and there ain't nobody thicker (in the head) than those ...

Aah, Rob-hin, but in order to win one, you'd have to participate in something dreary and depressing, preferably with a lot of anguish and pain for the main characters, film editors, and costume designers. Losing an arm or some other vital bodily part is helpful for your campaign.

Excuse me, bitter ...

Madauros is in modern Algeria, I believe, which was the Roman province of Mauritania. For imagery, think of the northern coastline of Africa ... you have the Pillars of Hercules at the left end and the Sinai Peninsula at the right. Carthage occupied pretty much the center of ...

The Metamorphoses (AKA The Golden Ass)

Actually, Fable, Apuleius of Madauros was a Roman citizen writing during the early Imperial period (at approximately A.D. 150). He was an odd sort, but his work is the oldest intact work of Roman fiction in existance. It was written in the "Greek" style ...

SPOILER-inside-a-SPOILER

***

As for Juhani, she's now depressingly goody-goody. I prefer playing the "goody-goody" path in RPGs, so I don't usually do dark deeds, but it might have been a good idea for her to have the chance, as it is, to go dark again. However, she has decided that her brush ...

There was a discussion, about a month ago now, about the trigger points for getting the individual character quests. There was a parallel thread on triggering Juhani's quest, and I think there ended up being some crossover.

Nevertheless, I've found it difficult to trigger the reappearance of Xor ...

MordorMan, this is a Dark Side conversation. You won't see this line if you don't play as a Dark Jedi (or at least choose the Dark Side options during conversations in the Temple of the Ancients).

Also, "dark side points wont affect me" is wrong . If you are have light side mastery and have earned every single Light Side Point available (let's say, for the sake of argument, that this is a total of 200 LSPs), and then get one measly DSP, you will have a score of 99 on your scale and you will ...

Why bother?

Unless you're actively hostile towards the Sand People when you're wandering in their portion of the Dune Sea, the turrets don't fire. This holds true even if, at a later point, you go all Quentin Tarantino -esque inside the camp.

(I don't know if they ever do fire. I've never seen ...
