This forum is to be used for all discussions pertaining to BioWare's Neverwinter Nights, its Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansion packs, and any user-created or premium modules.
Me and Rudar are working on a module and I was thinking that maybe you guys have some good ideas for small or huge side quests adn you never had the time or patience to implament, any ideas that just seemed to hard to do or that you would like to see in a module? So now that can finally becoem true, write down any ideas you have, and I mean any how silly or small they even seem to be put them down in this thread. Any one else looking for ideas to their module can of course also use this thread to get started on thier very own module or PW.

Alright for anyone intresed I'm going to put up an idea I had.
A small village is being harrased by an unknown group of ruffians. From what you,the PC, can tell the ruffians seem to be coming from an area around the old Pirats cave situaded a couple of legues from the village. You are offered the complete gratitude of the village people if you go and seek out what is wrong out there and also you might get an award. So you head out to find that the ruffians are indeed centered in the cave but they seem very well fortufied and you try to find a sneak way in. You talk to a lone ranger and he tells you to seek a crack in the wall and enter through there. You find the crack and enter. Slay all the ruffians and eventually run into the leader of them you kill him and finds a letter from a merchant of the town that you just were in. The letter tells you that the merchant ordered the band to this village because the prices were getting to low and he wanted to raise them. You go to the major of the little town and tell the story. Then the major tells you to go and get back the head of teh merchant. you go head hunting and return with the head and recieve your award and a good reputation in this village.
THE END
"Those who control the past control the future, those who control the present control the past" And I rule the PRESENT!!

Plz note that the ideas listed here does not nead to be as complex as the one above. Here is a simple one.
You come to ann inn see a looked door. you ask the innkeeper what is behind it and if you can get in. The innkeeper tells you to get his cat from his roof an dhe'll show you how to get inn. As you return with the cat he tells you a combination that a lever system has to be in, inorder to open the door. You pull the levers and voila
**I have done this one in a module already so if you want the scripts and stuff I have them**

Please make a module that is for special interests.. Here is one of mine that I like...
I love playing smaller characters (halflings/gnomes). Make a quest that is designed for there smaller peoples.. For example, a group of people want to break into a castle, etc.. Well the only access they have is for someone smaller to be shoved between the bars of an access tunnel. Script it so only those racial types can enter & transition to the next part. Then make it so they have to work they're way to open a door, passage, etc.. to let the rest of the party in.
I also would like to produce special traps.. Not the standard traps that Bioware includes but ones that trigger multiple events happening. For example.. entering a chamber triggering a traps & the doors slam shut and a beasty appears. The reason I'd like something like this is it keeps the rogues of the world employed & prevents hack & slash.
And lastly, bravo for your offer to take peoples ideas. Please make a module that is for special interests..
