Lord in Bolen Fields

Post by toddhd »

I am in Skulldoon for the first time, and stuck at the gate. I read somewhere that I should have first talked to the Lord in Bolen fields, and the barmaid, etc. which I haven't done. Who should I have talked to in order to learn about the Lord in the fields? He has never been mentioned to me before (except on these boards). Now for the LONG walk back.

I only found Lord Graemare because I was doing the knight quest, and it takes place in Bolen Fields right next to Graemare's camp.

I think the idea goes like this: Ellowyn's chambermaid mentions that the tavern girl helped Ellowyn escape, the tavern girl mentions that Ellowyn was heading to Bolen Fields, and then you stumble upon Graemare when you look for her.

But since talking to Graemare seems to be required in the game, you'd think the game would have done a better job of directing you to him.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

*** Spoiler ***

You can find the Lord anytime actually. I found him very early on in the game.

Once you talked to the Lord you need to return to the Fargrove Inn and talk to the waitress there (mentioning a passphrase). Then head to the Harrow Ruins and talk to the Lord's daughter. After that, head to Skulldoon and speak with whatshisname in the Fortress there.
