OK, I have played Zelda up until the Nintendo got more than 6 buttons, I loved Diablo, Dungeon Siege I/II, Might and Magic, Hero's of Might and Magic. I have played them all until I have played them out. I do not want to play online with others. No offense, I just would rather not open myself up being on a server and considering my OCD and control issues, playing an RPG that I can turn off and on at will is a much better option. SyFi and War Games (Have considered Call of Duty and Medal of Honor - can I play them with out playing on line?) are my thing. Worried some about Call of Duty and Medal of Honor, my psycho Dr. says it is not a good idea for my PTSD LOL.
Any recommendations?

Consider giving Morrowind, Oblivion, Bioshock, Mass Effect and Half Life 1 & 2 a try.

Silverfall and Earth Awakening both have no multiplayer, so that could be a deal breaker. There are a ton of RPGs out there, so perhaps the Infinity Engine games would be a good place to start.

Wow. Are zippy and I the only ones who actually read this guy's original post?

Your point being? Mass Effect is a single player RPG, Sci-Fi, right up evanvickle's alley. And since he mentioned CoD and Medal of Honor, I thought throwing in some stellar FPS game recommendations wouldn't hurt either.

All looks good to me, except OP doesn't want to play online, so no multiplayer is a plus, not a deal-breaker.

I'll add Divine Divinity. It makes a good stepping stone between the action games OP mentioned and the more serious RPG's others are recommending.
