Good to Evil

Ok, question, if I have a lawful good character and start to kill everyone, and in essence become evil, does it change anything for me, or do I just lose reputation? And what about naturally good characters, like Paladins, Rangers, and I think Monks. Does it alter anything for those characters who can't be evil when I just kill everyone and everything in sight?

If you lose enough reputation, items in shops will become more expensive and amnish soldiers will start trying to kill you.
