multi f/m vs. dual f/m

Postby Illuman » Sun Mar 10, 2002 6:57 pm

which one of these plays out better over the course of Tob, the multi class f/m or a dual at 9 or 12 or whatever f/m. i am not sure what would work better. i already took an assassin/mage (dual) through Soa, and i tink that keeping the advancement in the fighter class throughout Tob will have advantages over a less melee inclined dual f/m (maybe not if dualed at say, lvl 15??). opinions?

This argument has been debated MANY times.
Check the latest here .

And surely with a simple search you'll find many, many, many more of such threads....

Anyway, all in all, there's not a great difference.
It depends on your style.
Both have GREAT melee abilities and GREAT magic abilities,
with some SMALL differences that open the doors to discussions...

After much thought on this subject , i went with the F/M multi, for a few reasons. First with the multi there is no "down period" where your at a very low lvl and anything you try is tough (my decision was based on solo play). Second i tend to me more of a melee guy, so i do like getting the high lvl warrior abilities also.
