They are there, in the character screen. For example, if your fighter has two attacks, then the Attack Bonuses are shown as +6/+1, for example, meaning 2 attacks per round. Since you know the attack progression you should know that fighters get an extra attack every five levels up to a max of 5 atta...

Please read the contract WELL before you sign. Laws are laws, but terms of a contract are always binding, especially if they don't infringe on human rights or that sort of stuff. If the contract states that you can't quit on your own during the probation period then you'd better consider your choice...

Gun and rounds are packaged power. To be really cheesy I'll quote Uncle Bill (if that's his name): With Great Power comes Great Responsibility. Exactly, and only if you earn the power through hard work and dedication do you gain the maturity to use the power responsibly. Gifting a moron or a jackass...

I've never played a PnP game before. Could someone tell me how people play it? For example, the DM rightly should create the scenarios and plots, and vary the encounters for an interesting game. However what about things like attack rolls and damage rolls and attacks of opportunity, feats used, resi...

Most of the rest of the 3E games in the market have either mixed reviews or horrible reviews. Ruins of Myth Drannor comes to mind. Many like the combat system of ToEE, but I found the lack of a proper storyline boring; furthermore some equipment and joinable NPCs disrupted the flow and balance of th...

All statistics add one modifier point for every two stat points above ten, and deduct one point for every two points below ten. So a strength of 18 would add +4 to hit and damage rolls. Yes, and the manual is useless. The one major problem with the BG series and its cousins is the complexity of the ...

Samurai lives among friends but is secretly a man slayer? Erm, this scenario was created more than ten years ago... a manga called Rurouni Kenshin, or Samurai X in the States, by Watsuki Nobuhiro. I've been playing with the idea of creating a football (soccer for Americans) comic, five-a-side, simil...

What's the difference between O levels and GCSEs? I took what we (the students in my country, Singapore) call O' levels and A' levels, but the full title of the papers were Singapore-Cambridge GCSE O' Levels (and A' Levels). I'm quite confused when my university mates talk about their GCSEs (I study...

[QUOTE=Nippy]Vicsun you are spot on about the graphs, PDRK is 6 hours ahead of California, and the tremor hit at roughly 2310 local time. Ah, yes, a WARM UP wakes you up, but go for a long jog, then a good cool down relaxes your muscles and helps you go to sleep.

Well, you never know if he watched the cheesy Western Version of the ring.

How about taking a long jog before you go to bed, then have a cool shower and go to sleep? Exercise is a pretty good sedative.

Hmm, I thought I heard fable (or one of the other mods) mention something about removing the fix for the camera... or perhaps I read wrongly. By the way, Xandax, what do you mean by the camera being unlocked in HoTU? Do you mean for the purposes of module creation?

Camera Lock

I've heard that there's a way to unlock the camera in NWN, such that the game sort of acts BG2-like, and I can scroll in the four directions. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Just a suggestion: perhaps you could revert to an older driver version for your graphics. I have no difficulty with my mobility radeon 9200 and WinXP SP1. Perhaps my driver isn't as new as the desktop ATI card driver, that's why.

Not too much of a problem there with two base ability scores: Paladins have more than one score (although only charisma is stated) that must be relatively high, and Monks use DEX and WIS for AC. Thieves use INT for skill points but DEX for modifiers. For example Clerics may have CHA to provide spell...

??? Well, this is SYM, so technically "off-topic" isn't very relevant here. Apart from that the thread itself was about someone playing a harmonica and asking others what instruments they played. Hmm. I took piano lessons before, but couldn't stand the teachers... so I'm a horrid piano player. About...

I usually ignore the netspeak drivel I encounter in GB. However I do know that some people don't realise that such typing isn't highly looked upon here in GB, especially first timers. I feel sorry for first timers to post here and get no reception at all, so I usually make some effort to reply, and ...
