Which metal to choose?

I'm having a go at crafting this time through. Which metal should you choose for crafting armor and weapons respectively, and why?

Half-elven noses

Anyone noticed that half-elves get enormous noses? They're bigger than the dwarves´, even bigger than the gnomes'. Incredible. I've tried to play a half-elf wizard for a few days now, but I just can't get over how extremely un-elven he looks. Anyone heard of an elf-gnome? Going back to humans, I sup...

It's correct that NWN2 only goes to level 20, so I have to make my own version of it. I chose the starting stats 16, 16, 14, 14, 8, 8 and plan to continue raising the Str all through the game. The low Wis has been compensated by the feats Strong Soul and Iron Will. I chose playing as a Human in orde...

I know this was about a strength based rogue, however it seems as if it has been done before. If you are looking for something new, why not try mixing the warlock and rogue classes? I did that and I was tearing through whatever I came across. Picking the Hideous Blow eldritch blast "shape" as your ...

You'll find that sort of information here eventually. I finally finished playing the campaign, and so now I'll get to work adding information to the subsite. SWC On my very favourite site and all, ain't I a lucky bastard? Don't you dare ta...

A rogue built on high strength is rather stupid. The damage bonus isn't that high to justify a high strength ( a fighter/rogue multiclass is another matter ). A rogue allways needs high Dex cause of most of his skills and Armor Class, as he isn't wearing heavy armor. The rogue's damage bonus from S...

You're absolutely correct, my mistake. Thanks!

(I still think it's cheap not to include a printed manual, though)

Rogue relying on Strength?

I once read a character build discribing a Rogue relying on high Strength rather than Dexterity. The main advantage would of course be the damage bonus when backstabbing. However, I can't find the page anymore. I believe I read it on a Bioware page, presumably for Neverwinter Nights 1, but am not to...

More info on NPCs?

Is there someplace on the net where you may find more info on the NPCs? Pics, names, classes, stats, where to find and so forth.

The manual?

NWN2 has brough me back. "Good to see you again" to all my old friends, and "Nice to meet you" to all newer members.

My first post regards the manual. Where is it?? I can't find it on the DVD and it sure ain't in the box (only a very short introduction is included).

You need to extract the NPC portraits of BG2 (largest version, 210 x 330 pixels, use WinBiff) so you can copy the (pieces of) armors. In my shown portraits, I used Keldorn's armor for my wife and Mazzy's for myself. You can enlarge, reduce, duplicate, invert, distort, color and otherwise change them...

Why not simply try to borrow a camera, or have a well equipped friend take the photo? I use a SLR, but any camera with a high resolution will do, of course. Try to get a background that is easy to remove with the Magic Wand or manually, you will want to create your own. The trick to succeed with cus...

Or you could put the desired portraits in your override folder, using exactly the same names for files as BG2 uses (the utility Winbiff will let you check these names out). If you then want to go back to the original ones, just remove the files from the override folder.

I currently play with two custom made pics, myself as an Half-Elven Blade and my wife as an Elven Avenger. Both are made pretty much according to Karwal's guide (although I have a few tricks of my own as well) in Photoshop CS2. They are slightly dark in order to compensate for the brightness your pi...

None of your pics has a good enough quality, unfortunately, you need a better resolution. I recommend you look at the tutorial at Karwal's site: http://www.karwal.dk/portraitportal/.
