you might as well jump (JUMP) my header is a title from an old song, cannot remember who for sure, possibly Van Halen. I keep the 'Steel Blade of Heaven' around too, though I need it less now my exquisite shirt has a levitate enchantment on it. I kept that 20sec paralyze dagger for a long time too....

enchantment

Absolutely agree with what Thousandfrac says, an ebony staff will hold much more enchantment, and once enchanted is an uber-weapon. Overpowerful actually, if you want it.

In real life.... In real life I clear tall buildings with a single bound. I crush my enemies, and sometimes trap their screaming souls to enhance my abilities. I jump from huge buildings just for the fun of it, and keep bouncing as I rush everywhere. I swim underwater as long as I want. Undead hord...

Fed up with Creeper and Mudcrab ?

If you gat fed up with the endless trading with either Creeper or Mudcrab to allow you to sell expensive stuff, here is a partial alternative. This relies on you not bothering to buff up your own enchant skills. Once you have about 150k and want one of those expensive constant effect enchantments, s...

The piece below is lifted from 'Shakti's site on Morrowind. There is lots of useful advice on it. http://home.austin.rr.com/shakti/morrowind/mwguide.htm At Enchant 30, Intel 60, Luck 40 - I could not make a level 15 item at all in over 10 attempts, but I could make a level 7 item in about 2 attempts...

that multiplier As Dragon Wench pointed out earlier in this thread, that multiplier really makes a difference. To spell it out, 10 increases in either major or minor (but not miscellaneous) skills are needed to go to the next level. However, if (like Dragon Wench) you picked Light Armour (Agility b...

Ebony problem

The prob with getting ebony early is that you are unlikely to be strong enough to wear it. Personally I trained up heavy and light armour, and mixed and matched.

most annoying person If you use Creeper in Caldera, for getting rid of those high value items, it means you often have to sleep somewhere nearby for 24hrs to allow his money to 'regenerate'. In practice, that means hopping out of Ghorak Manor and into Shenk's Shovel where you can sleep. There is a ...

best armour When I started, I went for a full bonemold armour set (with the spiky pauldrons), because I thought the guards in Balmora looked cool in it. It's not the best armour, but I still think it looks good, and if I hit the tab button to get an outside view of my guy, his butt does not look bi...

Not an item Not an item, but a spell. Hearth Heal.....I find I am constantly using it Also surprisingly useful is the little velothian helm that restores 10 health every time it is used. Great as a top-up item, very quick to use, re-charges rapidly and I believe it only weighs 1.0...... Amulet of r...

other constant-effect souls to trap

minor spoiler . . . minor spoiler . . . . minor spoiler . . . . . I have just found that there are souls you can trap for the later enchanting of constant-effect items besides Golden Saints, Ascended Sleepers (never found one of those yet) and Vivec. For example, some dude called Dahrk Mezalf that l...

The coolest race at the moment The coolest race at this moment is Breton (with the fair hair in a pony tail). Before that, the coolest was a Redguard. The next race to be the coolest I don't know yet, as I haven't chosen my next character, but when I do, obviously that will be absolutely the cooles...

Dreugh armour origin, The Koal shrine

If you go to the Koal shrine, and read the inscription, it is where Vivec defeated the Ruddy Man, and after this it says that Dreugh wax is used to make armour.

changing armour I haven't played this enough to give you a certain answer, but in my game, like the various bonemold armours and the dreugh, the dragonscale was medium armour, and if the guy you killed in Vivec was an Ordinator, then their armour too is medium. I don't know why it registered at fir...

Is it a theology thing? Is it a theology thing? I'm sure I read in one of the countless Morrowind books that the Dreugh had made/been forced to make, some Cosmic agreement which carried the penalty that they had to lose their superbly armoured hide. Oh, and my theory of the Dreugh incomplete armour...

The difficulty of enchanting weapons

very minor spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . When you look at how much enchantment something like an exquisite amulet will hold in 'enchantment points' weapons are, by contrast, very poorly served. This may be no bad thing in that it makes it more difficult to obtain an all-powerful weapon. Since I ...
