There's an idea I was toying around with a while back, and reading through these old forums brought it back. What if you played as the child of a bhaalspawn? It could be any bhaalspawn, but I think it would make a lot of sense to be a child of Sarevok. There's the tie-in with the original games, and...

Except of course as a Paladin or a Monk should you be even trying to 'rescue' Imoen, she broke the law after all, and as the saying goes,'if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!'. Also remember that ignorance is no defence in the eyes of the law. As far as a Lawful character is concerned sure...

I think that to further the goal of rescuing Imoen, a temporary alliance with the Shadow Thieves isn't against a paladin's code of ethics. The duties you are assigned to do all have to do with eradicating the vampires, an evil species, so your actions are justified.

I saw an interview he did where the lady interviewing him said that it was rape, because they were "forcing" the women to have sex with their husbands for seven days.

Interesting take on it.

I think that if I saw this on a satirical news show, somewhere I knew it was a joke, it would be funny.

Sort of emphasizes the sinister undertone to the name "Black Friday", doesn't it?

Just one little thing about the government Canadians have elected... I hardly think Canada would elect a majority Conservative government if more people would turn out to vote. Not only that, but while the conservatives (not the political party) only have one major party, the liberals (again, the pe...

It's a good choice for Secretary of State. American foreign relations have been very unilateral for a long time. It was moving in a better direction under Bill Clinton, but Bush did not continue that trend. I think Hilary Clinton is not only very likely to move in the same direction with foreign rel...

It makes sense. Humans in human weapon loving societies have weapons for killing humans at home, so why shouldn't vampires in vampire societies have weapons for killing vampires at home ? Ah, but you don't fight a vampire with a wooden stake. You stab it in the heart while it lies sleeping. Bodhi a...

I think it`s hillarious that a vampire in Bhodi`s lair, has a wooden stake in the cupboard by his bed!!!!!! I love this game btw! That was one ridiculous thing, the stakes lying around a vampire lair! The only explanation I could think of would be that whoever buried the corpses left the stakes in ...

One horror I movie I especially liked was [REC].

It's filmed in a similar style to the Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield, so if you don't like that kind of thing, stay away.

The reason given for not using the pass is that your party couldn't hope to deal with the vast army of the Legion of the Chimera, being only 6 people or so.

You're struck by a sudden need to travel across the dangerous countryside, not to mention through the Underdark, to get to Kuldahar. Because they're in danger. Apparently.

Monks, if I recall correctly, could only advance to level 8 without challenging anybody. But yeah, 17 was their limit. Assassins had a limit as well, I can't remember what it was, but they could go without challenging anyone until they wanted to reach the last level possible (then they had to challe...

What would Bards and Druids want with high Charisma? Especially the latter need all the stat points they can get... Don't bards use charisma for their spells? I'm not sure, that may not be the case with 2nd edition D&D rules. But I'm fairly sure all those classes have a fairly high minimum requirem...
