Dungeon Lords sequel

I loved Dungeon Lords, but what ever happened to the sequel? I vaguely remember that the tile of the sequel had the word Orb in it. No? I was looking forward to it.

Re: Building / buying a PC

I'm with Sear on this. You don't always need a lot of power, but the quality of the PSU is important and you can't go wrong with Corsair. I'd go with a modular unit for the sake of convenience and having fewer cables filling up your PC case. As for CPU's, they can't be upgraded. Within a given gener...

I like action-rpg games and in the 3rd-person perspective, how many ways can you spin this genre? There's only so much you can do with it just like with first person shooters. Anyway, I'm glad that Sacred is getting a second sequel. I played the snot out of Sacred 2.

I think that it could work so long as they don't do make the same mistake as they did in Doom. Granted that most video game to movies don't turn out well, I did like both Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

All of its technical bugs aside, Bloodlines was an amazing, addictive and very fun game. It seems to me that developers nowadays try to make games that appeal to an entire mass of people and that's where they fail. Obviously Bloodlines didn't appeal to everyone, but it shined for those that took it ...

What the Heck?! It seems like everyone thinks that Fallout 3 is the greatest game since sliced bread. I like the game. It WAS fun, but it was not THAT great. It didn't feel like the old Fallouts and I don't think that it captured the humor/spirit of them. Still, it's a good game that's fun. I think ...

How does the game stack up to Baldur's Gate and the earlier Neverwinter Nights (1 and 2)? I'm just wondering if this game will be something to get after I'm done with Sacred 2.

If you check out this article on HardOCP (link provided below) they compare a FarCry 2 played in DX9 and DX10 modes. In that game, DX10 outperforms DX9. One could infer that perhaps the developers aren't properly using the DX10 api. link article: [H] Enthusiast - FarCry 2 DX9 vs. DX10 Performance

I disagree with this review of Sacred 2. I'm playing it now and I'm having an awesome time. The voice acting isn't great but it does the job and often it's funny. I love it when you kill a little kobold and he groans: "I knew I was an extra in this game" (or something similar). Sometimes, your own c...

They probably skimped on the paper manuals to save a little $$. Plus, a skimpy manual helps foster the sharing of information in the Witcher community. Anyway, I can't wait until my reserved copy comes into the local Gamestop store.

It seems that today, game developers are often trying to appeal to the lowestcommon denominator in order to reach a bigger market. Hence, we get sub par RPGs and games in general.

I wonder if they'll incorporate some sort of multi-classing ability. It would not mind being able to occasional get my fighter character to three a few fireballs or bolts of lightning.

So far, this game looks intriguing. I wonder if it will play a little like Dungeon Lords? Out of all the first-person action role-playing games that I have played, Dungeon Lords was by far the best of them all. Combat was simple and very fun. As a side note: Is it not funny that when any action rpg ...

It's a purely marketing trailer since it doesn't show enough to give you an idea of how things will look. Nevertheless, I'm excited about the enhanced edition of the Witcher. I also hope that they'll have enough servers ready for the thousands of people who will be downloading the enhanced edition p...

I was thinking the same thing when it mentioned 'weapon creation' and 'blueprints'. Troika made an awesome game when they created Arcanum. Of course, other games had very good weapon/armor modification systems (e.g. KoTOR I and II) but I think Arcanum was the first game to employ blueprints that wou...
