The guys at Made 2 Game brings us their review of Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, in which they hand out a score of 8.5/10 to Larian's ambitious bundle pack. The closing paragraphs:
Fantasy games of this nature are always going to be compared to Oblivion and whilst it has a good go at it, it just falls short of being masterful. The main problem is the pacing; the story is a little slow and takes a long time to start coming together. That said, give it time and you will get a lot from it.
Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga ticks all of the right boxes for a great fantasy action RPG but fails to pull through on a couple of crucial areas, however it is an entertaining game that will fill in the gap between Fallout New Vegas and Dragon Age 2.
