I am currently playing a NG FMC solo in Hof HoW and stuck in dragons eye lvl 4. Its just too much of a pain to do. I want to have a nice hard game with a 4 member team so that all of them come close to maxing out. Can someone recommend a good team? I been combing through the forum posts and found that a good consensus was C/R F/ILL F/T Bard all Multiclass or F/D(dual) F/C m F/M m F/T m
If someone could give me a good 4 person team with stat, race, class) that should be able to overcome any obstacle that be great.
Thanks

It is not painful for you because you're soloing, it's because you're playing HoF mode which grants even the lowest enemies hundreds of HP and raises their damage potential a lot.
The game was created and balanced for playing a party of 6 in normal mode, HoF mode is just an add-on for bored masochists who enjoy that even killing a goblin takes long time.
If you play HoF mode with a party of 4 instead of soloing it with your F/M/C the game won't become easier, rather harder because of the later access to high level spells and more characters to keep alive.
There are several ways to handle your current situation where you feel stuck even if you don't want to turn down the difficulty. You can try different tactics for this level (like starting the fight by freeing the prisoners or killing the high summoner as soon as possible) or go back to Kuldahar and start HoW and return with far more XP, mage spells and better equipment, XP farming in the Vale of Shadows is also an option.

You could get your saving throws so low that you only fail on a critical failure.
Magic resistance should also help to avoid those spells.
I don't know if "chaotic commands" protects from feeblemind, but it might be worth a try.
Or you could just hide from the casters and let them try to feeblemind a few summoned skeletons.

Let me ask you another quick question. Why are some priest spells unavailable. Like for instance Conjure Fire Elemental. I am lvl 13 but this is not an option but entropy shield is available. Are some spells not automatically given and must be found?(for the cleric side)

Conjure Fire Elemental is a druid spell. Clerics or any multiclass combination thereof, get this spell. If you're patient enough, this spell will become available for your mage once you reach Dorn's Deep.
