Today at a small school in the even smaller state of delaware the American hero and NASCAR driver supremo Buckshot Jones(his real name didn't make it up)appeared at my school. I wait for your cries of jealousy and awe at how I met such a outstanding citizen!! ;) :D

Horrible, I saw it on the news. I have watched perhaps 10 races in all my life, and out of those 10, one was when I was a kid and Swedish rally driver Ronnie Petterson died in an accident. Another one was the race when Ayrton Senna died. :(

Maybe that's why I never got hooked on rally :(

Well we can be thankful Alex Zinardi is alive; he was in a coma for 48 hrs approx. This kind of thing is always likely in sports so dependant on speed. Personally i do not see the attraction of such sports, it is like driving, just going fast does not appeal to me, i am much more interested in demanding corners - going around a 90 degree corner - than pure speed.

Of course i actually watched the senna thing as well, that was very scary. His car just didn't turn :(
