Infinite Justice

That's what the deployment of US forces in the Persian Gulf is being called. Might as well call it "Operation: Picking Up Where the Crusaders Left Off."

"Infinite Justice" sounds too theological for a strictly military endeavour. "Infinite" and "Justice" are qualities usually associated with God, and one of Bush's top priorities right now should be to prevent this war against terrorism from becoming a war between religions (Islam versus Judaism/Christianity). Some possible alternative with less religious overtones:

Operation: Counterstrike (yeah, yeah, I know its boring but it gets straight to the point)

Operation: Storm of Vengeance (now where did I get this from?)

Operation: Uncle Sam's Gavel (Bang! "Guilty as charged!")

Operation: Measure for Measure (Shakespeare anyone?)

Operation: If You Thought Bush Sr. Was Tough…

Operation: I Love The Smell of Napalm In The Morning…

Operation: Show of Force (a pure intimidation strategy)

Operation: Lex Talionis (It's Latin for… anyone know?)

Operation: Attack of the Americans! (brought to you by George Lucas. Come to think of it, most of the Star Wars titles would do quite nicely: Operation: The Empire Strikes Back! Operation: The Phantom Menace - since highly trained special force units are expected to play the biggest role in the conflict, and Operation: A New Hope - for a terrorist-free world, that is)

I disagree there. Eternity is more often associated with God than infinity. Infinity is more often associated with the universe, or so it would seem to me. Yes, God is a "just" God, but I tend to associate the word "justice" with other things, to be honest. I tend to associate words like "loving" and "gentle" with God.

Hmm...maybe you got it from this:
<STRONG>"I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord.</STRONG>~Romans 12:19
Though, if so, that doesn't exactly prevent the religious war thing.

Sailor Saturn, you disappoint me! Storm of Vengeance is obviously from Throne of Bhaal! It's one of those high-level powers available to high-level Clerics! Hah! And you call yourself a Gamer? :) :D

Nah, I call myself a spammer. I don't even have BG2 yet. I just got TotSC Saturday. :( Sorry to disappoint you, but it is not obvious to me that it is from Throne of Bhaal.

Operation Dessert Storm...

Take the terrorists and make them keep eating ice cream until they get brain freeze so bad they run around holding their head in their hands like a Psyduck. :D
