Whats the story with the French. It looks like the are half-hearted in there reponse to join allies. How would they repond if someone attcked there country (US help us!!).

From someone who was in the military, dont feel sorry for the soldiers going to war. I know that they live for stuff. (they wanted to go to war ).

SOME of these European countries look like they go to water easy in todays world (unless I am getting wrong information).
Didnt the US help Europe out a lot in Kosovo.
Can they expect the same help from everyone?

Anyway, thats what I think here in OZ.
Have a nice day

:) :) :)

Are you sure this is how it happened at99?
I will not make this in to a "country fight" you look at it all wrong, we are in the same boat and the US does not come jumping to the rescue if Europe is weaning. They/we are allies .The US have great interest in exactly that area, like with Kuwait for example that was not just to save little Kuwait they took military action. All of Europe has been mourning with the great loss that the US has suffered. You should have seen the large number of people in front of the American embassy, people as far as the eye could see lighting candles, and this was just in little Denmark! The rest of Europe was in sorrow too since the US is more loved here that you can imagine. So of course you can expect back-up no country no matter how big or great it is can take on terrorism alone. and you cant just attack France without attacking Europe and you cant just attack Europe without attacking the US, this also workes in reverse order you know. we are the "western world" and we are allies so dont throw the bad seed to Europe!

and for what it is worth I feel a great sorrow for the people and the pride of the US

Gee... I guess the French being for the US is a lot better than them being against the US :)

Oui, oui, Miss Clovelle! (The TV said that early this morning.. my young brother was watching it)

Personally, I want to criticize the other countries for being paper tigers.

"This is awful! We pledge our full support in helping the whole world against terrorism!"

Yet no country has put that statement on paper, yet. It's a lot harder for a country to say something when they actually have to stick with what they said :P

I know it will come, I just think it's ugly that a country pledges its "full support" and then says "hold on a second" when asked for that in writing.
