The Pub of the Future

Welcome to the Newest, Hottest, Most Happening Place in Town!

Since we haven’t had a bar thread in a while, I thought I would open one up. Since I mostly deal with old things, I thought I should look to the future. You’ll notice the exquisite decor - mostly chrome, glass, and neon lights. We don’t have a karaoki machine - we have a robotic karaoke band! And, if you so desire, your voice can be synthesized to actually sound good!

The wait-persons and bartender are also robots. Rosie is a whizz at operating the food synthesizer, so order what every you desire. She cleans the place up, too (Rut row George!). While Robbie is quite adept at mixing any drink you can think of (especially those concoctions from the Red Planet) our fine establishment specializes in the famous Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (Danger, Will Robinson!). If you desire more traditional brews, we have transporters standing by to beam any drink you want direct from the factory!! There’s nothing like a fresh Guinness that had just been in Ireland just a few seconds earlier!

A note to the trouble makers out there: Gort is our bouncer. If you cause a ruckus, he’ll make your Day Stand Still in ways you’ll be sure to regret.

So come on in, have a seat (hydraulic, form-fitting, automatic chairs with built-in massage units). There’s no charge for these services - everything is free in the future (that’s how it is with Utopias, you know). You’ll see me in here occasionally, walking around being jovial like a thin, bearded version of Harry Mudd. Enjoy the new tavern! :D

Robbie? You heard the fine lady.
A Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster will do just about everything you could want a drink to do. Drink it in memory of Douglas Adams... :(
