Subjects here are meant to quizz your mind, express thoughs and oppinions and an excuse to spam.

Basically i see it as a gathering place for like minded individuals to voice their opinions and post things that we find amusing, most of us have similar interests so it eventually transcended the BG2 forum, so we could chat in this place. A lot of us are at work so it fills the boredom when we should be working

Oooo, your question reminds me early days of the SYM. I wondered "what do spammers do?" when I had around 100 posts (mainly questions about BG2) under my belt. It seems to be such a long time since then...

I could have had a member number below 2000 if I'd registered when I first came to Game Banshee (last christmas)

I remember some guy directed meto gamebanshee when I was filling up the interplay forums with newbiefied questions.

Ahh memories .. of a newb!

I found Gamebanshee from a link at pcgame review. I remember coming across the forum, it looked different, and there were a bunch of guys in BG2 forum who dominated the board. There was Sleep, Weasel, Omar, Bordin and Drakon. Drakon did most of the posting then, and he was the guy that everybody looked up to, specially because of his knowledge on D&D.
But I was foolish and registered at BGdungeon. But i still came along sometime for answers for the game, and then there were more people. The alter egos, Mr.s Sleep, Legal Sleep, that was hilarious. Then i decided to register, and a week later BGdungeon shut down, and then some the former members arrived here (fable, sojourner, shegottahaveit, lordeweller?, Nick_Dude, and more...)

i wish i registered here earlier. I would probably have over 2000 posts.

@Sleep: It took me 7 months to reach 1000 posts, and i was here almost everyday. I don't think it took anybody as long as me.
