Modding Question Please Help

Hi, I have an NPC problem. Its a custom NPC of a custom race i created. Its Simple really...I stuck him in the world and added some armor to his inventory but it didnt show up on him. some things show up and some dont...does anyone know why this is? or what i need to change about my npc or race? the skin is the same as the other elven races in morrowind. after installing better bodies that is. is the regular clothing clashing with the BB skin?

no, its the stuff that is already in the game before any mods.

Is the race a beast race? If so, he cant wear boots or helmets. If this is the case, you just have to untick a box in the race entry.
What is his unarmoured skill? If it raises his defence above that of the relevant armour/skill combination, then he will "choose" not to wear it. If so, you just need to raise the relevant skill in his NPC entry.

That's most probably it. You need to either change the class or turn off auto calculate and set it yourself.
