I am restarting the game after a long hiatus. I actually made it through the warrens before I had to reformat my hard drive and lost all my sacved games. So patch 4.9 is new for me. Is there an updated walkthrough or list of what the patch changes or fixes? For example the seduction of Jeanette and saving Heather's life?

You can check out the notes for each unfficial patch here: (The Patches Scrolls) Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Downloads

As for heather the ghoul and the voerman sisters, I believe the walkthrough on this site is up to date.

Thanks. I will do that. Is there a consolidated list or do I have to start at the earliest patch and work forward?

The complete list of fixes and changes sorted by themes and locations is further down near the end of the unofficial patch readme.

Readme file.

Thanks. The Readme file that no one ever reads. I'll do that. Good work on the patches.

What readme file exactly? I've only been able to find patch notes for individual patches and all the new patches are in .exe format, I don't think they contain readmes.

The new patches are in .exe format so sites like Worthplaying can't remove the readme in the first place. I will ask to get the complete readme for the next release on The Patches Scrolls, but for now download the small incremental patch and it will display the full readme on installing. You can read it without continuing if you don't want to.

Readme

I found the readme in the game directory folder. Program files/Actavison/ Vampire-Bloodlines. Since I restarted the game after a reinstall patxh 4.9 was installed clean and it must have put the readme there during installation.

So for the replay is going well with no bugs that I can see. It's a shame that it has taked so long and dedecated to make this game what it should have been out of the box.

For a similar situation you should see what progress the modders are doing to Ubisoft's Silenter II and IV.

Wesp5--possible bug

At this point I have been playing the game with no techical problems. I then decide to play the game with the intention os seducing Jeanette and followed the sequence set out by Jake Zahn on GamesFAQ. The sequence worked find, but then the game froze and became unstable. There may be a problem in the basic game code, but when I played the game to save both sisters there were no technical problems.

Just thought you might want to know.

Can you state on which line of hers the game froze and if this was a random bug or reproduceable?

porblem

It was: "Grab the boom-stick, ivory princess" The game simply froze up. I rebooted my computer. After I reported the problem I replayed it. It then went ok. So maybe this was a random thing. In any event I thought you ought to know.

Here's a strange thing that just happened to me:
I'm currently playing as a Ventrue (since it's the only clan I didn't finish the game with) and using the 4.9 plus patch. Well at Grout's Mansion I couldn't find the stat-book at its original location...well actually I couldn't find it at all...Did I overlooked or has its location been changed? Cheers

You should have found the Thistle powerup at the very same place the book was because I swapped these two Dodge-increasing items.

Same problem here. The Thistle was at the Hotel (same location as in patch 1.2) but I cannot find the "Scarlet Torkelson" book in Grout's mansion anywhere.

I mixed up basic and plus maps here and a second Thistle ended up at the Mansion which strangely seems to not appear if you already own it. This issue has already been fixed for 5.0!
