I cast my vote for Mr.Sleep....he has always been helpful and....rarly flames.

Wesael, if you want the chance, you've got my vote, but I do believe you passed up the oppurtunity before.

I agree with Weasel, so I'm also casting my vote for Mr. Sleep.

However, if Mr. Sleep doesn't want the position, then my vote will go to Georgi.

Yeah, it's shame you passed Weasel, though I can understand why. Who would want to take responsibility for this hellhole? j/k I have to agree that Mr. Sleep would be a good alternative though.

My vote goes for Sleep. As Weasel said, he rarely spams, or flames, making him a good choice. Also, he is reliable, and we all trust him to use his best sense.

To post in SYM sometimes leads to debates....and my temper will overcome me. This a sad fact.

I know this and this is the reason I have decided it's in the best interest of GB and me (I don't want to be banned) not to ask for or except a position of Mod in SYM.

If one of the smaller forums needs help ...I will do my part to make GB the best board there is.

Buck has been good to everyone of us and asks so little in return. I feel I will be doing him a disservice by asking to be a Mod in SYM.

I know I've posted far too many opinions here ever to be comfortable as a moderator, where expressing views can also be interpreted as taking sides. I think Weasel's reasons for not accepting a SYM moderatorship show a great deal of maturity.

Ive been posting for 2 hours and nobody was posting, but Buck posts and....Oh the power!!!

I thought of both Fable and C Elegans...but I have read their post and see they don't want the job. C Elegans posted she doesn't have the time...and Fable's post above.

How come no one seems to want the responsibility? If I were home all the time I would do it, or if he wants a part timer....hmmm...

Leedogg: I gues "having" to read every post and check for things that break the rules would get kinda tiresome. Wouldn't you rather "want" to read something rather than "have" to?

There are two reasons I'm not bidding for SYM is because, as Fable, I have very strong opinions, and they tend to generate some biased. Also, I don't know if I'd be able to handle all the stress. Maybe if I were working with more active people (More than just Buck in other words). I think that would be what is best, not just one new Mod, but two.

Most of it comes down to...you have to give up some of your freedom. You cannot choose sides or wade in on a piling flame war and choose who is right. You have to tell them all to take it off the board.

Your opinions are limited. To be fair and give everybody a chance. For example: Cheese players...they have as much right to post cheese questions as PnP players do. You can't decide one is better than the other.
