Huge Problem: Can't add dead Partymember to Party

Post by kusto »

This happened:
Lothar (Lower Ward) asked me to fetch the skull, I went through the Dead Nations and Dakkon got killed by Hargrimm (yes, i exposed the Silent King).

Dakkon being dead, i entered the Tomb. When i got out, Dakkon wasn't in my Party anymore and i can't revive him.

So if anyone can help me with this problem, i'd be grateful. Otherwise....perhaps anyone has some Savegames somewhere around that area?

Thanks anyway.

You did, of course, save the game at a point when Dak'kon was either still alive, or at least, in your party, correct?

Do you have the ability to raise the dead, yet?

I'm afraid it's two times no.

As I recall, if you leave a loadable area in which a dead party member is present, the party member is then gone. You could try a PS:T editor, however, and see about editing them back to life from your savegame in which Dak'kon is dead. Mind, I've never tried any of the PS:T editors, so I have no idea how well they work, but they're certainly worth a glance. This is where you can download them.

As always, back up your savegames before you edit, creating copies in other directories, just in case.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: Oh, and a hint: go back to speak with the NO's old girlfriend. Try different response options, provided they don't insult her. You might like one result you haven't previously tried.

Well, Dakkon is lying there, but he's _not_ in my party, so i can't resurrect him.
Should i go to Deionarra anyway?

Did you check out the editors to see if they will allow you to add him into your party? I don't know that any of them will. But they might. Is it worth going through them to find out if that will work? That's up to you.

Eventually, yes. But it will not resolve this problem.
