Hey All,

I'm in a campaign of primarily fighting undead. I am going to be gaining a level and I can auto learn 4 spells thanks to a feat I got out of CArcane. I already have telekinesis, teleport, baleful polymorph and shadow evocation. I'm looking for some good spells to suppliment these? I like to be versatile, but really any useful spells for utility, combat, vs. undead or vs. necromancers would be really useful.

Please help me pick a few spells.

Everard's Black Tentacles and Improved Invisibility spring to mind. Solid Fog, Dimension Door are good as well. Solid Fog + Black Tentacles as a combo sounds nice.
Mnemonic Enhancer isn't too shabby.
Enervation is a must have, but save it for later levels.
Wall of Force is great for Battlefield Control.
Waves of Fatigue is surprisingly useful, but not so when faced with undead.
Permanency is a given.
Break Enchantment is a good utility spell.

Also, which books can you use?
Which feats do you have?

EDIT: I misread your post and thought you needed 4th & 5th level spells, so that's why I told you about some 4th lvl spells. They're great too. ;)

re:

I can use pretty much all spells.

I have improve initiative, improved toughness, craft wondrous item, craft magical arms/armors and.. one other feat whose name escapes me from complete arcane that basically lets me get an extra 2 spells auto learned/per level

I'd suggest looking out for Empower Spell & Split Ray and the one that reduces MetaMagic costs by 1 spell level.
