added Casavir where does removed MPC go?

When you add Casavir does the removed MPC go to the well or back to uncle's pub in Neverwinter? i want to remove Khelgar but also want him with me when I go to his clan to fullfill his quest. Will i have to return to Neverwinter or can i pick him up at the well? thx in advance
