Missing NPC and other bugs..

I started playing this game about a week ago, everything fine until recently (or at least it seemed that way).
But now Grobnar goes missing whenever I try to enter the Docks or Blacklake after doing all quests related to the trial. This of course screws up the game for the trial (with an arena battle that never happens).
Anyway - so after more than day plus of finding out exactly what was going wrong (Grobnar's disappearance and pet summons), and what is supposed to be the "cure":
Neverwinter Nights: Tech Support (Self-Help) Starts Here...
#8 in that thread, it turns out that:
WHEN I RIGHT CLICK ON THE PET SUMMON TO *UNSUMMON* IT - THERE IS NO OPTION TO UNSUMMON!
What to do?
Additionally, a few items seem to have their damage resistance missing:
Whitebone Armor +2 (half-plate) - missing 10 in blunt damage resistance.
The Regal (helm) - missing the +6 (soak damage 5).
Robes of the Old Order - missing its damage resistance (..as is the improved version).
Now with these items I haven't tested to see if the damage resistance is *actually* remvoved or not, but at least in the item's description it is removed.
Anyone else experienced this problem?
