Blind?

Post by jimmy_the_pipe »

I got a bit of a problem. The first time I played through as dark, Kreia had force-sight as early as Telos station, and Visas already had it when she joined the party.

But now this time round as a light character, Kreia does not have force-sight, and neither does Visas. I remember Kreia taught the Exile the ability, but now I can't seem to get that dialogue going either. Is there anyway to get any of these characters this power? (I know it's kind-of useless, but it looks cool.)

I've never had Kreia teach the Exile it, but Visas usually does - isn't it down to how much influence you have with them?

Oh, so Visas teaches Force-power? I guess I have to build up somemore influence.

I know Kreia definitely had it though, because I was scanning the Czerka, TSF, arms dealer and other people before I left Telos station. (I kind-of remember finding out she had the power, without any cutscenes or anything that pointed it out.)

Hmmm. I've never seen Kreia have that power; certainly it doesn't appear at level up. I wonder if when you had it before you had encountered a bug (or had done something with the Save Game Editor that you'd forgotten about)?

Visas teaches you the power (which is pretty useless anyway once you've played the game through and know what to expect where) when you get 90 per cent INF with her and ask her what she did to your eyes when you fought. Note that due to a bug if you ask her this question BEFORE getting 90 INF you don't ever get the chance to ask it again! So be careful what you want to say to her if you want the power (or the 500XP that go with it!)

I think it was a glitch; I just queued up my old save file but now she doesn't have it. But I swear she did! I remember thinking at first Kreia was blind, but then when I found the power I thought she could only see people through the force. I used it a whole bunch of times on Telos station, before meeting Atris. And again, when at Atris secret base.

(Other than updates, I was running a brand-fresh image of the game; no cheats, hacks, codes, or mods.)

I figured it out: the Kreia in my game doesn't have force-sight, but when I switch to first-person view she sees everything through force-sight, blue-grey-red. Is that a glitch?

(I was going to take a screenie, but the user icon disappears. I have the save file if anybody wants to see it.)

EDIT: Visas doesn't have FS either, except in first-person.

I believe so. I've never experienced that when I've switched to Kreia.
