Extra key?

I've cleared out the dwarven halls but I'm still holding a Wrought Iron key. Can't seem to figure out where this key goes to.. any1 got any ideas? don't think I've missed anything....
also, i'm carrying around a blue jewel thingy i got from very early (but don't remember where), is it any use?
