Inner Sanctum( Spoiler)

hi guys,

I have already killed the Black Gairus and the many clones of the night walker. But when trying to bash the statues with the paladin i just cant damage it nothing works. Please help guys.

What weapons are you using? Perhaps using bludgeoning weapons would fare better? I've never had the problem even when with some of the NPCs using swords, but then, I have equipped them all with at least +3 weapons with at least one additional other form of energy damage by that time... so you might want to check out with more powerful weapons. Not sure if you can target them with spells...

Anyone can bash the statues... not just you. So go ahead and spread a few guys to bash them all if you can afford to.

everytime i approach the statues and try to hack at it . nothing happens . Eg when u try to kill a creature u will see a icon that shows this is the creature to kill. but not the statue

If you right click on the statues a menu should come up with the "bash" option. If you use that you should be able to destroy them.

Destroying the statues

I tried in vain repeatedly to attack the statues, to no avail. No amount of right-clicking on the statues would allow a melee character to strike the statues, and I believe I had som eof the best weapons available.

I finally learned one way to do it. Read on if you want to know how I did it.


Ammon Jerro's Eldritch Blast will cause decent damage to the statues each time (20-40 hit points). I didn't count, but each statue takes about 10 blasts to be destroyed.

FYI, once you get to this point, the rest of the battle is a no-brainer.

I've never had problems with "bash" should have no problems breaking the statues ... when it is time.
It just takes a number of swings to do so.

But good you managed to move on.

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but you have to right click and then hold the right mouse button down for a second to make the menu pop up. All characters with all weapons should be able to bash things.

Yes. I've had that problem too. You need to hold the right click for a few moments before the menu comes up, or you can shift +right-click. At least that worked for me.

Unsure why the option does come up if otherwise. I know I've had the main PC, Ammon, Zhea, Cass, Kheld, and Neeshka try bashing before and they've all worked so far.

If you simply hover the mouse over it, the default options is to use the statue, for the benefit of those who can. You need to force it... kinda like any door you've met.
