This might sound stupid: how many CDs does the game have

My cousin just moved into a new house and while cleaning up he decided to give me his old game CDs. Among these were 2CDs with Planescape:Torment.
I installed the game and started playing. All went well until I tried to enter the Dead Nations. I keep getting the 'Insert CD 3' message. But I only have 2 CDs.
So am I missing a CD or is this another type of error?
