Wondering what the most poweful and damaging melee weapon is in the game.

No maths here, as I'm too lazy, though I'm going by memory on what I've done before.

Numerically, I believe the statistically most damaging weapon on average would be the Falchion (might be the Scythe, but I've not done the maths for that one).

BUT if you want to exclude critical hits, I believe it would be the Greatsword. You'll know why in time.... :mischief:

well, i found that after i played the game...

longsword:has most powerful treasure such as "sly blade",....

greataxe: has biggest damage(1d12,critictl *3,but no special treasure! -_-..

i tried this build before:
weapon focus, special,on halberd (1d10,critical *3), and trained as a weapon master can has a critical *4 ,equip with "dragon breath" (+4).
you can bit a enemy with high up over 100 hits points.
