Now that you're here, here's my dilemma:

Did a search, found something ores, nothing on ingots.

Some questions on ingots, all types:
#1. Are they random "drops"? Or are there at least, a specific place where you can get some?
#2. Can you get unlimited samples of ingots (if you have the right person)?

The reason I ask is, I'm ending Chapter 2 and eager to forge a mithril fullplate, but I don't have enough mithril ingots! All I have is one measly ingot I can't remember which chest I got it from. I found a stack of 25 iron and darksteel ingots each, but nothing else other than the odd bar for the other materials.

I've checked the the gamefaqs Keep guide for ore locations, and noticed I missed some. But I did not miss the one that's supposed to be mithril; unless that guide is not correct. Yet, I get no mithril ore sample, and I only seem to be able to get one ingot from each ore location (unsure if those are the ore's I stumbled onto).

Come to think, I'm also having problems finding certain gems required for recipies as well.

Any hints into if I can expect my personally forged mithril fullplate +5 ?
Nothing too revealing if possible.

I found 2 mithril from salesman but I don't know where to get more than that.

Pap has 2 ingots of Mithrel. Other than that I'm not sure.
