Spell Making Problem(noob Q)

Yeah, so im going theVahtacen's Secret quest and im at the pillar part. It says on this site that one of the parts i need a fortify majicka spell Which there already is one there for me. But i used it so now i have to use the Alter of Spell Making. I make the right spell but i dont know where i pick the spel up after creating.

What do you mean pick it up after creating? It's automatically in your spellbook when you finish making it.

You mean you didn't save before trying to open the pillar?

ah
Yeah, i figured it out about the fortify majicka but now i have use a damage majicka. That is not on the list for spell making, where can i get it i looked all over

The altar will only let you create combined spell effects or more powerful versions of spells you already know. Use the GB spells database to search for a character who can teach you a damage magicka spell:

Yeah i looked there. I didnt see anything that "Damages" majicka, only drains. I tried using a drain majicka and it didnt work so i guess i need to find a damage majicka which i didnt see. Unless im blind idk

It's under "Damage Attribute" effects, and there appears to only be one person who sells one: Sulinus Vassinus in Skingrad's Mage Guild
