SPOILERS AHEAD!




When playing with the latest patch, Lorne doesn't turn hostile, so I can't defeat him in the trial. I tried reinstalling without any patches, but then my game wouldn't read any of my savegames. Which it still won't, so now my savegames are unusable, Lorne *still* doesn't want to fight, and I can't check the Bioware forums for help since they're down for some reason which only makes me more frustrated - this ALWAYS happens when I have a problem. Help?

Did you save your game after the combat part of the trial started, and that's what you're loading? You're supposed to have a conversation with Lorne before the fighting starts up, and my guess is that something went wrong there. So if you saved after that point, nothing is going to magically make Lorne turn hostile. If you have one, I'd suggest going back to a saved game from before the courtroom part of the trial.

I tried replaying the trial, but I got the same problem except this time I lost and Sand insisted on a trial of combat. he still isn't talking to me and just standing there like a life-sized doll. grrr.
