question on Crossroads keep

when I went there it said in the walkthrough that you used the keep as a sunken flagon with all your companions inside. But when I left like you would leave the sunken flagon and it would bring up the party selection screen to select your party members nothing happened it just loaded you to the outside of the keep. what's that all about? and inside the keep near the library room on the area map there was a qara marker why is that there?

Also on a smaller note when i purchased the west wing it said there was 57,500 gold left if it cost 15,000 why didn't it say 55,000?

Also much earlier in the game at some point about the time that bishop helps you go after the githyanki I would go into the sunken flagon my party that i had would not be standing in their normal positions but would just follow me around like outside but whoever was not selected to be in my party at that time would be in their normal positions. what about that?

The first question I can answer.
You select your party when you leave the Crossroad keep area, and not the tavern.

The second one, I have no idea what you mean :)

As for the third, I can't recall if it is intended (that they move after you) or that is a glitch. It sounds like a glitch to me.

Xandax got the first.

Qara marker....there aren't ones for other NPC's? Even so, is this a big deal?

57,500-15,000 = 42,500 ???? You get some gold from taxes...so it does fluctuate a little...

I don't see why the last question is a problem. It sounds like the NPC's are acting like they are supposed to: the one's in your party are selectable and movable while the ones that aren't, well, aren't.

1. When you exit the keep by going through the blue world exit graphic in the tunnel, it takes you outside the keep but you are still in the same area. To get the party selection menu, you need to exit the area by going outside the keep then walking to the NW corner of the map, past the fenced pastures.

2. I assume you had 70,000 GP to begin with and you are wondering why, having spent 15,000 you now have too much money? As noted above, you get a few gold from rent everytime you advance the story (e.g. by going from inside the keep to the outside or by entering the castle to talk to Kana then coming back outside) so the extra 2,700 was probably new rent .

3. Crossroad keep is not quite the same as the Sunken Flagon where your party all moved to their assigned spots and waited for you to leave. The party members actually do walk around with you here. The people who are not in your party will have markers on the map to note where they are in case you want to talk to them (although there is not much point in doing so.)
