group after the assassins in the grove

I can't seem to go back to the docks to pick up 1 more companion once I am made squire. How do I fix this?

assassin attack in grove
After the assassin attack in grove and being made squire I can't get back to the docks to get another member. Anyone encounter this and how do I do that?

I believe you cannot access the docks as a result of the storyline, so your game is not bugged. During the game, you lose access to certain areas, but the docks is just temporary.
