please help - problems with sound

When I play NWN2 i get very little sound. Well actually i get all the sound except for the fighting noises(slashing, banging and grunts). This only happens every once in a while. I dunno if it did this before, but I play with a No-CD crack. Could that be my problem? And if it isnt, what would be?

Have you checked the sound settings in the game's options? Also, are your sound card drivers all up to date?

Yes my sound options are correct. And how do i check to see if my sound drivers are up to date? LIke its weird, its only once in a while... more once than a while though.:S. So ill check the sound drivers, once u tell me where it is to look.(Newbie=me)

Go to the Control Panel (its in the Start menu on Windows XP) and double click on Sounds and Audio devices. Go to hardware and click on your sound card then select properties. Go to driver and click on update driver.
Edit: I've changed the title so people know you are having sound issues - it may help get more replies
