Familiars and Animal Companions?

Heya. Will anyone be able to explain to me how I can activate my animal companion or familiar? I was pointed out to a tab in my feat list, I clicked it - and nothing. Is there anything else I need to do?

If you started the game with a Familiar or animal companion, there should be an Icon on the quckbar at the bottom.

Feat list? As I recall, you had a fam or companion depending upon class. It would be a feat for someone like a ranger, but a spell if you're a wizard or sorc.

This might be a difference between how it's supposed to be, and how it's implemented in the game. In the game, animal companions and familiars are summoned via feats. If the feat isn't in your quickbar already, then you can drag it from the feat list to the quickbar and activate it there.
