I am in this cave and don't see a way out.

I went down killed the 5 man, dodged the 2 traps. Hit the flip switching the stairs and grapped the 'Varla Stone'. Further down the hallway I went left (the room with that stone RIP grave and the 4 corner lights (sorry, don't know the proper word)).
Now in that room is another switch to open the next 'see trough/bars' door. But when you walk to that switch, the room locks you.

My question is, what do I do wrong/what do I mis?
