Hi... is it possible to unstick a character that cannot move?
I am standing next to the left post of the big Reno sign... i am not visibly stuck but wherever i try to go i get the red X!
First i thougt the bum standing next to me was somehow blocking the way but even though he stod right next to me he was out of range when i tried to punch him or even shoot him.
I have no savegam that i wish to revert to so i hope there is a way to solve this issue.

I'd advise you to star the game again, ( I know, I know, it is somewhat frustrating, but i know something about it - 6 times :/ ). anyway, you received your lesson. You should always have two saves: (your char name or whatever) - as a main save, done after certain achievements - i.e. completing a serious quest, and (your char name or whatever) QS (quick save) - if you like to steal, this will come in handy. Well, you can also have a 3rd save - battlesave, you know - never misses, always hits and receives no damage (but that's tiringing and time consuming, however I found it useful - nevermind).
That is my advice for you Enok. Wish you all the best.

I too think you're boned. It seems like a strange bug from which there is no escaping. In other words: you'll have to reload or restart.
On saving advice: I usually use all 10 save slots. I just cycle through them. You can see which save was the last by which date/time is displayed in the information on the right hand.
Or, if you want to be hardcore:
The Nearly Ultimate Fallout Guide wrote:Once you fill up your quota of slots you can use a file manager of your choice to make room for new ones. Just rename a save game folder (those named "Slot01" through "Slot10") you don't need for the moment to something which gives you a hint of what it contains (like "Slot02-shady"), and that slot will be free for use again. Then whenever you want to bring back an archived save, restore that folder's name to a valid one. You can use a similar trick to swap between whole save catalogues by renaming the "Savegame" folder to "SavegameX" or something else. This way you can juggle different games with different characters.

THanks for your advice... i was hoping to get a HEX address in the save file where my characters coordinates are stored, but what the heck... haven't gotten that very far into the game yet anyway!
Thanks a lot guys!

Can you "push" the bum away? (Left click and hold, then select the Push icon.) A very nice addition from FO1.
I suppose save, quit, and reload doesn't help.
