unable to finish

im in despair... I can neither release the FEV nor shut down the reactor AT ONCE because my system crashes... (even if I did, and when I want to leave the area - it just simply crashes...) got any ideas or same experiences...?? My patch is 1.05...

I'm not really sure how it crashes, but there is that recurring crash that sometimes tends to happen (I should almost say wants to happen) during combat. To get around that type of crash you need to revert to an early enough save, like at the very least four or five combat turns ago. If you don't the chances are pretty high it will crash again at the same spot.

the point is that it is not crashing during the battle. tell you what I'm doing. I've got oe save, where the FEV is released, so I can't tel that doc to shut down the reactor. So i plant to TNT, and when I right-click on the stairs, it crashes.
Also, when I'm telling that scientist to shut down the reactor, and trying to leave the area, my sys. also crashes...
hell... I'm slowly becoming aware of the fact that I won't be able to finish it on my damn PC.
