Having trouble with Auril's Altar (Spoilers)

I can't seem to figure out how to either defeat it, or spill blood on it.

I consulted a walkthru, and it told me to talk to the genie on the first floor. Unfortunately, I killed him.

Any help is useful, TIA

EDIT: I haven't messed around in the "Battle Arena" thing yet. Maybe a clue will reveal itself there.

Klorox, I don't remember needing to talk to the genie on the first floor. Go talk to the white abishai leader on the first floor, in the room filled with white abishai (in the NW corner of the 1st floor). If you've killed him as well, I'm not sure how you procede.

I didn't kill the white aishibi guy, but he's telling me that I need to take care of the voice before continuing.

I'm going to hope that getting past the battle square arena thing will help me. I looked at a walkthrough, and it says that I'll get a key to one of the rooms by beating the square.

That's the key to the third priestess sister who runs the place. Hopefully that'll let me open up another dialogue option with Nathaniel, who has asked me to kill her.

If this doesn't work, is there some way to CLUA console (that's what it was in Baldur's Gate 2 anyway) and create a new genie?

1. The "voice" is the issue. You need to learn the name of the voice.

2. You only need to complete 1 rank of Battle Squares to complete the Ice Temple. Doing the rest of it is entirely optional, but worth the effort. That said, you can come back to the Ice Temple for quite a long time after you've left it. Without giving any spoilers, after the Ice Temple, you'll eventually meet up with Oswald again for another airship ride. Up until you agree to get on the airship, you can return to the Ice Temple and take on the rest of Battle Squares.

3. Try to exhaust all other options before worrying about CLUA'ing another genie. For the most part, BIS programmed multiple ways to solve things like this. Don't give up quite yet.
