Using Qara, I came across this strategy by accident. I am sure other people have already been enjoying this tactic, but I havn't seen it mentioned yet in the forums.

How many fireballs per day can a sorceror cast? (not counting bonus spells)

Try 18!

Take the feats Empower and Maximize Spell not just for their dammage benefits but also to cast your favorite offensive spells many many more times.

Firebrands are the same as empowered Fireballs without the possibility of breaking objects in containers.

IIRC - Firebrands also have a larger AoE as well.

Then you can cast 18 firebrands with the same trick!!!
