Ok, so I have travelled to West Harbour and re-forged the sword, but then a Reaver dude pops up who cannot die!

When the battle starts he turns my character to stone (nothing seems to stop this happening), the rest of the partry kills the Reaver's minions and then start laying into him. But he does not die! Ever, ever ever.

What I am doing wrong?

Well, I've never been turned to stone in that battle. The only way to kill the Shadow Reaver is to get either Ammon Jerro or Zhyaeve (wrong spelling I know) to use/read the True Name scroll. Take control of your companion and get them to use the scroll, a white light hits the reaver and after that you can do the blighter in etc.

He's right. Until you read the nasme it's useless. It taskes some time for him to read it. On easy settings it is rather quick
