I am sure someone will think I am a [removed] for asking this but the instruction booklet says nothing about mining or what your suppose to do to get the Quarry people to actually go mine.

I have clicked just about every button I can on the mines and the are marked clearly on my map but the quarry people still tell me to find more ore? Is there some thing stupid here I am not doing to mark the mines properly so they will prompt me to go mine when I talk to them?

Any help be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

They are just saying that they cannot give you more money/metal until you find more ore. If you have found all of the ore veins, then there is nothing more you can do.

There are only a set number of ore veins you can find per chapter. They can sometimes be found in the oddest places, and you'll recognize them because that specific place "sparkles" and you'll receive a small amount of XP for finding them plus an in-game notice saying you found an ore vein.

This here is an excellent thread on where to find all ore veins.

Additionally, there is only so much you can DO with that ore, and all of it pertains to the people in your Keep. Specifically, (spoiler -> )

the weapon and armor smith. Once you've upgraded your armor and weapons to 'best', finding ore is sort of a moot point if you don't count the small amount of XP and the revenue you get from reporting the ore locations to Calindra/Pentin ( your miners ).
( <- spoiler )

So basically, don't worry about it. I think that some things we were supposed to be able to do with the Keep were cut out of the game, as certain conversations show, and there's nothing we can do about it.
