Hiya ;)
This thread concerns, as the title indicates, the various history feats you can get throughout the main campaing of NWN 2. Here is a list of all the History Feats and how you can get them. Please help me fill the blanks, as I haven't gotten all the history feats yet, even though I'm on my fourth run right now. Note: This thread is especially about HOW these feats can be obtained, not just about listing them.

List of history feats in alphabetical order:

All of them can be found on the webpage at this website dedicated to the new Feats section for NWN2.

Just a note: Dragonslayer goes to the character who lands the killing blow on the dragon, and not necessarily to the main character.

So it's an acknowledgement of accomplishment, rather than a feat that gives a bonus? Sounds similar to the way the old Might and Magic series used to reward you with titles as you solved quests.

And a couple more: Blessed of Waukeen is the bonus from buying the limited edition. Merchant's Friend is the bonus from pre-ordering.

Solusek, about both of those: do a search on this forum on a relevant word, and you'll get a code that you can use on the console to add them to your in-game character (PC version). They simply add merchants and make prices lower.

Edited ;) Thx.
GoldDragon wrote: Master of Elements: If this is what I think it is, it's a feat given to Archmages.
Really? How can you become an Archmage????

This is ticky-tacky, and doesn't make a big difference, but I think you only get Wrongfully Accused after you win the battle with Lorne. The challenge is to settle the question. If you lose the battle, you're 'rightfully' accused.

Well, actually, in NWN2, you can't. it's feat simply allows you to change elemental-based spells to another Element. (IIRC)....

Which means: Mage using Fireball and changes the elemental attribute of the spell to Ice, it would be a fireball that does Ice damage.

Actually, I'm a bit surprised that it's in, so one of the other Wizard/sorcerer (even cleric?) may also give it.....

Wrongfully Accused might be broke!

Galadine, that is what I thought too. My character defeated Lorne but never got the Wrongfully Accused history feat.

I am finishing Chapter 2 as the Butcher of Ember so it seems like receiving the Wrongfully Accused history feat might be broke. I have a vet buddy who ran into the same thing. He gave himself the feat but I don't think it is necessary even if your character is lawful good.

I wonder if my paladin will finish the game as a lawful good Butcher of Ember?

I'm pretty sure you get Butcher of Ember just for being accused. You get Wrongfully Accused for winning the court case before facing Lorne.

I think you get the "Butcher of Ember" feat for LOSING the court battle.

Kel: Who called for the Trial by Combat?

I also got the Orator Feat. Apparently, I talked so well, that I actually out-talked a Diplomat....... For This feat, you need to have QUITE a bit of Diplomacy (I think mine was around 12-15, or somewhere in that neighborhood).

I had high diplomacy (at least 15) and I didn't get the orator title. I think you have a make ALL the diplomacy, bluff, etc. checks to get it. I had made all but one or two and no title was I granted (even though I "won" the trial without Sand's help) :(

Hi SWC, thanks for the reply.

You do get the Butcher of Ember just for being accused because it was there before the trial ever started.

I would have to think that I had a hung jury, therefore a mistrial because I never heard who won.

GoldDragon,

I believe it was Lord Nasher who called for "Trial by Combat" as Torio had no reason to if she had won. Torio winnning and I would think I would most likely have just lost my head or something.

My problem was I let Sand argue my case which was a mistake because his charisma is not very high. I figured he would have a better chance than a Harborman who knew nothing of the intrigue of nobles and the courts.

I want a retrial and is F. Lee Bailey still alive.

Lord Nasher shouldn't call for a Trial by Combat.

If you win, then Torio calls for the Trial by Combat as an appeal.

If you Lose, then Sand is supposed to call for the Trial by Combat (which you can't really lose, since that ends the game.....). I suppose that Lord Nasher would call for it if Sand were not in your party, which I would Find Odd, since He is REQUIRED up to the Trial.....

Also, There is a Lore Check during the Trial. Big HAHA, there. I play Wizards with High Lore, so THAT particular check, which was a BIG surprise to me (I don't think it was in the Walkthru, but I don't remember for certain),was a no-brainer, and I also had a fairly High Diplomacy. I suppose I passed all Diplomacy Checks, as well as the Lore Checks, so.......

EDIT: I just checked. No, the Lore Checks are NOT mentioned in the Walkthru. I also suspect that, unless you have a certain level IN lore, you don't even get that choice......
