Everyone, I need help bad. I am at the SR Castle. I tried to push the loose brick at the SR Tower area and couldn't. I started a saved game, went in again and tried the loose book in the library in the SR Hub. That does not work either. I am getting real close to the loose brick and the loose book, then hitting shift but nothing happens. There is no message at the top of the monitor identifying the objects either.
I played this game once and everything worked Ok. I need you guys really bad on this one.

Make sure your key mapping didn't change for the Action/Shift key. If that's ok, then use winzip or winrar and shrink your save, then send it to my email shown in your private message area. Lemme see if I can do anything with it.

Ok
GK, I have no idea how to use winzip or how to do what you are asking..even though it would be wonderful if you could help me in that way. I will ask my Son when he gets home and hopefully he will have more 'puter savvy on how I might do that.
Thank you George. I appreciate you time Partner.

Hey....
Hey George or anyone else that might tune in....George said something that just now kicked in...it had to do with mapping. I have noticed that before this problem if a wolf or whatever came near me I would see a red dot or dots on my map. Now I don't see friendly pink or red dots for the enemy....I was wondering why I did not have this warning before a spider bit me on the behind and scared the hello's out of me....Sooooo, how do I change that? I think this is my problem. I went to options and hit defaults but nothing happened that I could see.
Thanks all for thinking of me.

Scout Points
Sorry to be so dufus and bother everyone. I finally lucked into the problem.
I had no scout points. I jumped it up to 3 and the brick was labeled and worked fine when I hit shift.
Hopefully someone will read this at a later date that has the same problem.

You can change your mapping skills in your skills list under general... Just up your scouting ability and the higher it is the more warning you have for enemies and you can locate hibben buttons and switches easier.

Thanks Ice
Thanks Ice for the info.....
Soooo, anyone have idea's why I can't present the amulent from "Beat me up bad Vixen", to Sax-aroni so that I can become a Shadow Lord??? I went to her tower and was ignored. Imagine that, a young lady in a tower by her lonesome ignoring Papaw! :mischief:

Did you look at your quest log, then at the amulet in inventory and identify it?
You should always keep check on your quest log, L, to see what needs to be done!

Quest Log
Yeah, you are right GK. I am very lax on doing that. I will mosey around and see if someone can lead me in the right direction. Then it will become a quest and the darlin' girly will chat with me. Thanks all for the info'.

PS: I haven't seen a bee for a while. Maybe they don't like me anymore.
