Bit of a problem..

Eh..heh, well anyway I was feeling that I'd started to make the wrong
choices in class progression, so rather than start again or load a previous
save which I now think I should have done, I used the resetlevel cheat in
the console, this had the desired effect, my level 10 mage/1 Bard/1 Dragon Disc.
was reverted to a lvl 12 mage as if I'd never taken the two other multiclass
levels, alls fine and well, now the problem occurs, I had made significant progress and was finally able to level up to 13, however now whenever I click
the level up button the game crashes to the desktop, I'm preety sure it was
the resetlevel that did this, as all my other party members level fine when I click the button, so I guess this is a punishment for trying to cheat....

Anyway has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Welll one possiblity is that you gave yourself a Feat you shouldn't have, used irolltwenties or given yourself allspells.
You can give yourself many Feats, spells and items but some are just not going to work.
So there is a chance if you find the Feat or do reset level again and not use allspells or irolltwenties it will work and you at least won't have to start over.

I did read that the resetlevels function was bugged...no clue how to help you with that. Sorry.

Yeah - I'm MEAN! :laugh:

Seriously, I think you may have to go back to a save from before you reset the levels (and run with what you had then), or start over with a new game.

Starting over is quite good fun, actually. I do it all the time! :laugh: Not got into Act 2 yet.
