I looked in the Manual didn't really find what I am looking for, seems very similar and vague to the Chargen info.

The 2 I am having a little trouble with are Paladin and Monk.
Why are Charisma and Wisdom important to a Pally, which should I be concentrating on.

Secondly what effect does Wisdom have for a Monk and is it the most important?

Thanks. :)

Palladin:

Charism affects saving throw bonuses, Lay On Hands ability, and Smite Evil ability.

Wisdom is your primary casting ability. Palladins get some minor spells as they progress through higher levels. In order to get all spells for a 20th level Palladin, you need at least a 14 Wisdom.

Monk:

Wisdom provides you with a bonus to your AC. It works just like Dex does, your Wis modifier is an AC bonus for a monk. It also improves the DC necessary to save against for your Stunning Fist attack. The higher your Wis, the harder it is for enemies to resist the effects.

Ahh, thanks very helpful. :)

So does Wisdom or Charisma allow a Pally to get more spells, i.e quanity as with Wizzys and Intelligence?

Should I focus on rasing Charisma, if the Wisdom reaches 14, to give the spells more power?

Wisdom works that way yes. As far as Charisma, you could. Palladins and Monks are the hardest classes to distrubute attributes to effectively. Monks truly need a high Dex and Wis in order to survive, with a high Str and Con being preferred on top of this. Palladins need a decent Wis, Cha, Con and Str in order to be a decent character. Experienced players can get by with other attribute allotments, but it isn't suggested for someone just trying out the classes.
