Dammit - i've had this user name for 10 years at least! THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I googled myself and found this crappy band from Austin (where I used to live) is named Voodoo Dali. They seem to have existed for 2 years.
I wonder if there are really awful bands out there called Waverly, Weasel, Dragon Wench, Bloodstalker, Maharlika, etc? CE is probably safe.
Here you can listen to terrible music with my name on it:

That sucks. My username is personal, and has tes to a religious meaning behind it, so I get pissed when others use it.

*shudders at nasty music*
Oh come now... I would imagine that a band named "Caenorhabditis Elegans" would have a certain undefinable "Je ne sais quoi," perhaps a poetic
elegance even...
Hmmm... I really shudder to think at what a band called "Dragon Wench" would sound like... :speech:
Seriously, I can understand that you'd be irritated.

For some reason when I think of your screen name I've always thought of the Dead Alewives.
As for the name stealing itself, meh crap happens, they might have just seen your name and liked it. I stole my screen name for a type of gem in the game Eberron afterall, so it can just be a complement to you (even though their music is horrendous).

If you read the bio on the site linked to above, it's mentioned to be taken from a song by Souxie and the Banshees, with a nod to Salvador Dali. Meaning, there was a pre-existing song tied to the username, and someone else had used it before this.
